Safeguarding & Policy Statements

A full copy of our policy statements can be found in the policy folder which is kept on the table in the lobby. If you require a copy of any of the policies and procedures please ask a member of staff or a Committee member. All our policies are designed to offer the best possible experience for the children and families in our setting. Our policies and procedures are reviewed on a regular basis and comments or suggestions from parents and carers are always welcome.

Safeguarding Children

We take Safeguarding very seriously at Apsley Lock Pre-School and have stringent policies and procedures in place. Please click here to view our Safeguarding policy. As part of this, we are also committed to "Safer Recruitment" and follow HCC Safer Staffing procedures. Lucy has attended WRAP training this term about the Prevent Duty and Radicalisation. All other staff have recently completed a Channel Awareness module delivered by the College of Policing.

eSafety

Apsley Lock Pre-School has strict policy and procedure regarding eSafety and the use of cameras, mobile phones, social media, the internet and Apps for and within the setting. We also have a designated person responsible for eSafety to ensure that the policies and procedures are adhered to and kept updated. Please click here to view our eSafety policy.
